JDB-650 adopts high-strength copper alloy as the base material. Holes are machined on its working surface at a certain ratio according to service conditions and filled with solid lubricant. The high-strength copper alloy delivers high load capacity, while the solid lubricant forms a low-friction pair. Under dry friction conditions, a pre-lubricating film is designed on the bearing surface to ensure that solid lubricant transfers to the mating counterpart within the shortest time and forms an effective solid lubricating film. When two unlubricated surfaces rub against each other, the uneven peaks on both surfaces undergo shearing, local adhesion and plastic deformation, resulting in friction and wear. Conventional lubricants can significantly mitigate these effects. However, during standstill, especially under heavy loads, lubricating oil and grease are squeezed out, leading to boundary lubrication or dry friction. For JDB-650, the lubrication source comes from the material itself. Once micro-movement occurs in the bearing, the solid lubricant easily generates laminar slip under external compressive deformation or friction force, thereby forming a solid lubricating film on the sliding surface. This film features low shear strength and can firmly adhere to the bearing surface without rupture even under heavy static loads. This embedded solid lubricant continuously supplies lubricant to the friction surface to reduce frictional resistance and wear, enabling the bearing to operate long-term at a low wear rate.Notes for UseAdopt standard sizes as much as possible during design where feasible.Check for foreign matter on surfaces during assembly. The sliding surface after use may turn black or grey-black due to the solid lubricant film. Do not wipe it off; continue normal operation.Coating the mating shaft with lubricant before assembly can shorten the running-in period and facilitate machine operation.Press in slowly during assembly. Hammering is strictly prohibited to prevent bearing damage and deformation.Select appropriate materials for different positions in design to improve mechanical properties and extend bearing service life.Screw fixing is recommended for reciprocating motion under high loads. For applications in fresh water, seawater and offshore operations, stainless steel or chrome-plated surfaces are recommended for the mating shaft.
