Zirconia (ZrO₂) full‑ceramic bearings feature non‑magnetic & electrically insulating properties, wear and corrosion resistance, oil‑free self‑lubrication, high‑temperature and cryogenic resistance. Within the continuous operating temperature range of 100 °C‑600 °C, thermal expansion caused by temperature difference is negligible. They can be applied in extremely harsh environments and special working conditions such as strong acids, strong alkalis, inorganic and organic salts, seawater and so on. Rings and rolling elements are made of zirconia (ZrO₂) ceramic. PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene) is the standard cage material. Alternative cage options include glass‑fiber‑reinforced Nylon 66 (GRPA66‑25), special‑performance engineering plastics (PEEK, PI), stainless steel (AISI SUS316, SUS304), brass (Cu), etc.
