Product Features

The flange bearing design enables high-performance sliding bearings to be used where base hole tolerance requirements cannot be met. Although this bearing design imposes very low demands on base precision, it can still withstand high loads.

Maintenance-free flange bearings feature good self-lubricating property and long-term wear resistance, and can operate fully under dry running conditions.

Multiple materials are available according to operating conditions.

Where flange bearings for threaded mounting are required

Installation: 

Different installation methods can be adopted according to requirements.

For low radial loads, the flange bearing can be mounted onto a flat surface with only two bolts.

In cases of high radial loads, it is recommended to support the flange bearing using a hole on the reinforcement surface perpendicular to the load direction.

This hole allows relatively large tolerances, as it only provides auxiliary support for the flange bearing. To enable the bearing to withstand higher radial loads, the flange bearing can be press-fitted into the base hole with the recommended H7 tolerance. Auxiliary bolts secure the fit between the bearing and base.

No special materials or tools are required for installing maintenance-free flange bearings.
