The maximum operating PV value of EPT series bearings is 0.4N/mm2
The EPT series bearings can withstand a maximum static load of 35Mpa. The maximum compression deformation of the bearing under this load refers to chart EPT-2; the actual working load of the bearing is slightly less than 35Mpa. The load is also affected by the operating speed and temperature. The faster the speed (Vmax: 1.0m/s), the friction temperature will rise, and the temperature rise (Tmax: 80℃) will cause the bearing capacity of the bearing to gradually weaken. For load changes with the bearing operating temperature, refer to chart EPT-3.
The friction coefficient of EPT bearings is relatively less affected by changes in movement speed and bearing load (see charts EPT-4 and EPT-5). This is also the reason why EPT is selected as a general model of plastic bearings; this bearing can maintain a relatively low friction coefficient to ensure the superiority of the entire friction and wear performance. According to chart EPT-6, the friction coefficient of EPT bearings will also be affected by the surface roughness of the grinding shaft. We recommend that the shaft surface roughness value for this bearing is Ra0.3~0.5um.

Shaft material has a great influence on bearing wear, but EPT bearings are suitable for almost all shaft materials; through chart EPT-7 and chart EPT-8, it can be seen that the wear characteristics of EPT bearings are excellent when using hard chromium steel shafts or hardened steel shafts and hardened aluminum shafts.
In standard atmospheric pressure, the moisture absorption rate of EPT plastic bearings is 0.3%, and the maximum water absorption rate in immersion water is 1.2%; lower water absorption rates only require changes in bearing design in extreme applications.
The color of EPT will basically not change after being exposed to ultraviolet light for a long time. The material's hardness, compressive strength and wear resistance are not changed.
SAVI-EPT plastic bearings are press-fit sliding bearings. The inner diameter can only be adjusted after being press-fitted into the bearing seat hole with the correct tolerance; the maximum interference of the press-fit is 2% of the inner diameter, which ensures that the sliding bearing and the bearing seat hole fit firmly and prevents the axial movement of the sliding bearing in the bearing seat hole.
