The maximum operating PV value of EPX series bearings is 0.4N/mm2
EPX plastic bearings can withstand a maximum static load of 110Mpa. For the maximum compression deformation of the bearing under this load, refer to chart EPX-2. The actual working load of the bearing is slightly less than 110Mpa. The load is also affected by the operating speed and temperature. The faster the speed (Vmax: 1.5m/s), the friction temperature will rise, and the temperature rise (Tmax: 250℃) will cause the bearing capacity of the bearing to gradually weaken. For load changes with the bearing operating temperature, refer to chart EPX-3.
Chart EPX-4 shows that the friction coefficient of EPX plastic bearings gradually increases with the increase of operating speed when the load is constant; Chart EPX-5 shows that the friction coefficient of EPX plastic bearings will decrease rapidly with the gradual increase of load when the speed is certain and the load is within 20Mpa, but when the load is higher than 20Mpa, the friction coefficient changes relatively slowly. Chart EPX-6 shows that the suitable shaft surface roughness for EPX plastic bearings is Ra0.6~0.8um.

Chart EPX-7 and chart EPX-8 show the comparison of operating wear of EPX plastic bearings on different shaft materials. Stainless steel shafts and carbon steel shafts are more suitable when the load is below 2Mpa for rotational movement, while when the load exceeds 2Mpa, the operation effect is better on hardened steel shafts and carbon shafts. Chart EPX-7 shows that EPX plastic bearings are more suitable for rotational motion; it is particularly noteworthy that chart EPX-9 shows that the friction and wear performance of EPX plastic bearings at room temperature of 23°C is not as good as at high temperature of 150°C.
The moisture absorption rate of EPX plastic bearings in standard atmospheric pressure is 0.1%, and the maximum water absorption rate when immersed in water is 0.5%. The extremely low water absorption rate will not cause changes in the performance and dimensions of the bearings, making it very suitable for use in humid environments.
The material properties of EPX plastic bearings will not change when exposed to ultraviolet light for a long time.
